EXCITING NEWS from APA & CNA…DRONE COVERAGE IS HERE!

Many of you have asked about coverage for your drones and we’re pleased to say we now have a drone insurance program underwritten by CNA! Details below:
- All states approved and available with these exceptions:
- Colorado: filed but not yet approved
- New York, Alaska, Hawaii: not yet filed, expect New York to be done by end of year.
- Eligibility requirements are Commercial Drone use, Drone size < 55 lbs., and compliance with FAA licensing, registration and usage regulations
- Coverage options include:
- General Liability
- Property (must have GL in order to purchase Property coverage)
- General Liability limit follows the GL Occurrence limit on the policy
- Property coverage available at limits of $5,000, 10,000, 25,000 and 50,000
- Drones property endorsement covers loss or damage to unmanned aircraft while in flight, being prepared for flight or while being transported to launch, or from landing site. For all other perils, Business Personal Property provides coverage, up to the Business Personal Property limit
